Briefly introduce yourself?

I am a Mexican girl who adores drawing. 

 How did you get to where you are today and would you do anything differently?

I got where I am today from my love and effort towards fashion.....and I guess I wouldn't do anything different. I believe that mistakes make life more interesting and you learn from them.

 Who helped you along the way?

I have been very blessed to have so many great people around me that have supported me through my passion.

 What are the things you enjoy most about chosen career?

Having the opportunity of meeting the people I admire and interacting with my lovely readers.

 Who or what inspires you creatively?

I get inspiration from everyday life; my girlfriends, sister, movies, books, street style. Also when I was growing up I was a HUGE fan of comic books. So I’m sure that has influenced my art/style.

 What thought process is involved when planning/creating one of your illustrations?

I carry a notepad and pen with me at all times! I get ideas in the most random of places. I usually write an idea down or do a quick sketch so I don't forget them.

 Your favourite new or established designer, photographer, artist (pick one and explain why?

I love Isabel Marant!

I am obsessed with her work; she is very talented and designs for the modern women. I could see myself and my paper dolls wearing every single piece from her collections.

 What era in fashion do you feel you can relate to most?

1960's  

 Favorite city in the world?

Paris, Paris ...oh yes! And Paris.

 Most cherished item in your closet at the moment?

A beautiful scarf my Aunt made for me. I love it!

I want to wear it every day. 

 Favourite fashion trend for this season?

Pastel colours. 

 One item, clothing garment or accessory every girl should own?

I good pair of black tights! 

  How would you describe your own personal style?

I could commit to just one style or trend; there are so many good ones....so I dress depending on my mood. But, I do wear a lot of dresses.

  Where do you tend to shop most?

Online shops! 

 Three things we would be surprised to find out about you?

Sometimes I read a chapter of the bible before I go to sleep,

I have an obsession with flossing my teeth and

I am always late to everything (I am working on that horrible habit of mine, though!) 

 Finally what advice would you give to any lilylovelock readers interested in the world of illustration?

 Keep practising, find your own style and have fun!
